La Femmina is a sustainable and ethical collection surrounding the idea of getting rid of the concept of negative emotion, specifically in women, and in accepting our least favorite sides of ourselves. Through the use of only natural materials, ethical kill-free silk, and biodegradable paillettes, this collection leaves the earth just as good as it found it. I plan to team up with two womens organizations, House of Wandering Silk and the Godivari Delta Women's Collective to create textiles for this eveningwear collection. With a philosophy of 'by women, for women,' La Femmina represents a woman's act of love to herself.
